Magister al-Maysān Lesath cuts a majestic figure indeed. A tall woman around 50, draped in purple finery, richly ornamented with all manner of arcane astronomical instruments. Her elaborate hair is weighed down by a signature headdress, of stars arcing around a sky. Mathematically accurate, of course. She wouldn’t have it any other way.

Lesath is already infamous for constructing a map of Untir’s skies and an accompanying compendium of constellation-tales, widely adopted across Maer and even by sailors outside of it. She is a once-in-a-generation astronomer with an uncanny instinct for omens and strategy. And, rumour has it, she is angling for the governorship of Ysuran…
