Born the second son of a minor merchant in Hakoi, Lunimu was a dancer, and devoted his early life to the art. As the island was increasingly threatened by Hen Eibari raids, however, he replaced jewellery with blades, and trained as a warrior in defence of his island and its neighbours. He does not dance as much anymore and can find little joy in it, devoting his time instead to the life of a soldier. However, if you watch him in battle at just the right moment, the spinning motion of his strike seems to resemble nothing so much as a pirouette.
