Dante is a historian whose writings are full of literary flourishes and who writes in the kind of style where you believe he knows everything or sees all somehow. He grew up in Maer and learnt his craft in Ysuran, where he resides. He has enough following and readership in Ysuran that he lives comfortably, but nothing that would make him famous. His works likely aren't read outside of Maer or even Ysuran. He is an older man with a grey Da Vinci esque sharp beard. His histories are great dramatic narratives that are entertaining to read. He knows most legends and is dedicated to telling the stories of others—who knows, maybe in the House of Fame he will tell yours!
